- Dr. Tom Blase
- Dr. Blase was born in St.Louis and is the oldest of eight children. He has lived in St.L, Kansas City, West Berlin Germany and Tucson since 1987. He has been married to Debrah for 28 years and their two children are off in college. Dr. Blase graduated from St. Louis Univ. High at the age of 16 and earned a Chemistry degree from Univ. of Mo. by 19. Four years later he finished dental school at UMKC and practiced in the U.S.Army Dental Corps in Berlin from 1981-85. He left the service to pursue his orthodontic training at St.Louis Univ. and received his Master's Degree in 1987. Dr. Blase and each of his four brothers are Eagle Scouts. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Russia. He has appeared on the Maury Povich Show (1997), earned a brown belt in karate, danced ballet for three years (while in dental school), and learned to play the violin and ice-hockey as an adult. In the past six years he has taken up drawing and oil painting and enjoys these hobbies along with golf, reading, and playing Xbox Live (COD-5 specifically: proud to share that his k/d ratio is 1.30 as of this writing).
